managing director. Rhys Jones aged 36, was formerly with the AIM listed

Energy in its quest to drive innovation and increase renewable energy usage

in the UK."Waveandtidal powerdeveloper, Aquamarine Power has secured the services of

acclaimed engineering design guru, Professor Stephen Salter as a specialist

advisor this month. Martin McAdam, Chief Executive of Aquamarine claimed

Professor Salter “could be likened to the founding father of wave power.”USIn the US Marc Wiseman has joined Ricardo, from Third Planet Windpower,

where he was responsible for developing utility scale wind power. In his

new role Wiseman will head the Ricardo Inc. advanced & clean energy product

group.Verdezyne, who develop processes for the fuel markets, today announced the

appointment of Damien Perriman to the position of vice president of

business development with a mandate for the commercialisation of

bioprocesses for converting renewable raw materials to biobased industrial

energyspecialist Entech Solar, has added GridPoint CEO Peter Corsell to its

board of directors. Corsell is CEO and founder of GridPoint, a leading

technology company has announced the appointment of two new directors this

month, Stanford University professor Dr M Elisabeth Pate-Cornell and

James Connaughton, former chairman of the White House Council on

Environmental Quality, as executive vice president, corporate affairs,

public and environmental policy. In this newly created role, Connaughton

for green jobs, enterprise and innovation at the White House Council on
