Sam Newell

Sam has spent his entire career as a specialist, executive or corporate recruiter in the UK and mainland Europe.

Following a number of years as an executive search consultant in the early stage cleantech market, Sam set up Renewable Energy Jobs in 2009 after searching unsuccessfully for an effective way to reach talented renewable energy professionals globally.

As well as building sucessful recruitment and executive search businesses in the UK and Germany, Sam has held senior corporate resourcing roles for a FTSE100 listed financial services firm and a global management consulting business.

Sam now spends his time promoting green job opportunities to anyone who will listen, something he feels passionate about.

Sam lives in Cambridge, UK with his growing family, in the little time he has when he is not working Sam follows Tottenham Hotspur and is currently learning to speak French (badly).
