Hays Sales are delighted to be working with a leading UK Mechanical and Electrical Contractor. They deliver a service covering all aspects of mechanical and electrical work ranging from small re-wires to major design and build projects. Due to rapid growth they are currently looking to recruit an Area Development Manager to further develop their successful business in Reading. Key duties and responsibilities of the role include: · Building and developing relationships with potential customers· Identifying and developing profitable business opportunities in the private and public sectors· Providing market intelligence to our local Contracting teams· Encouraging staff to focus on sales activity· Promoting Company interests at industry events, conferences and forums· Working with engineers and estimators to secure business opportunities The successful candidate will: · Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build a rapport at all levels· Have the ability to prepare and deliver high quality presentations, marketing material and correspondence· Have a proven track record of customer relationship management spanning a diverse range of clients and end users· Have proven success in winning new business opportunities· Have sales experience in the Building Services or the Construction industry· Actively support a strong safety culture· Have the ability to make and implement innovative business improvements If you feel that you have the passion and the drive to make this role a success then we would love to here from you.
