Assistant Mobile Experience Manager (Digital) - Overview
As Assistant Mobile Experience Manager (Digital), you will manage all business development and change to the British Gas mobile apps and widen our mobile presence. You will identify, prioritise and schedule change to our mobile product alongside all digital journey owners and appropriate business stakeholders. Focus will be to ensure that customer NPS is continually improved, innovative development is encouraged and that material value is associated to every change made.
- Base salary : Up to £35,000 (experience related) + Bonus + Benefits (or package to c. £41,000)
- Location : Staines ( TW18 3BY)
Assistant Mobile Experience Manager (Digital) - The Role
As Assistant Mobile Experience Manager (Digital) your role is the key business interface into the IS team responsible for mobile development and is ultimately responsible for successful production of innovative and market-leading mobile applications. The key day-today responsibilities are:
- Day to day management and development of the British Gas mobile services, including the iOS and Android apps. (ongoing maintenance and prioritisation of product backlog, sprint planning and regular sprint delivery)
- Work with the mobile development team to plan and prioritise the development against business objectives.
- Maintain app content and keep design up to date whilst complying with legal and best practice guidelines at all times
- Regular performance reporting of the mobile products and tracking against KPIs.
- Analyze customer insights to inform continuous improvement of app, ease of use and user experience
- Work with the wider Centrica business to gain support for the mobile channel and to deliver business solutions to support the needs of other business units
- Supporting the Mobile Experience Manager to deliver a strategic vision for British Gas mobile.
Assistant Mobile Experience Manager (Digital) - The Person
- Technical/Educational: Understanding of the change lifecycle, from concept to post-implementation review; A proven passion for good digital customer experience
- Experience: Proven experience within, and an excellent understanding of, the mobile market; Experience of working with successful mobile applications. Ability to prioritise and take decisions in the best interest of the customer and the business as a whole
- Relationship: Good communicator; A commercial outlook with the ability to influence and persuade internal stakeholders
- Leadership: Ability to work independently and drive towards deadlines ; Well organised and have demonstrated the ability to work to KPIs
- Environment: Working knowledge of Agile development techniques would be advantageous
- Success measurements: Increasing engagement with the British Gas mobile product; Increasing numbers of successful transactions submitted via mobile channels; Successful delivery of significant change programmes requiring mobile support ; Ongoing improvement and formalisation of incremental change processes
