Associate Director – Energy & Carbon Management
Location: Home based, Office based one day a week

Summit Sustainable is delighted to be working with BSSEC to source a number of high calibre staff to join this growing and progressive business.
BSSEC are a small but growing Carbon & Energy Management Consultancy with their headquarters in Westbury, Wiltshire. A burgeoning reputation has led to an increasing work load and the requirement to recruit a number of new team members.
As an Associate, you will be responsible for taking a leading role in the delivery of a variety of new and existing projects from strategic carbon management pieces to ISO5001, energy efficiency retrofit and renewable energy due diligence.
Initially you can expect to spend around 50% of your time focused on the delivery of a landmark energy efficiency programme for a major high street retail giant. You will be responsible for delivery and project management. You’ll be the type of character who is capable of working autonomously, taking ownership of projects, and managing and harnessing relationships.
Applications will be welcomed from those who can demonstrate a track record of operating in a client facing role within the energy management and wider carbon management consultancy sector with a focus on commercial buildings. You will almost certainly be a Chartered Engineer, CIBSE accredited, and have some experience in implementation of energy efficiency projects and carbon management programmes. You should ideally have had some experience of leading teams.
