Associate - 3Si / Red Ochre

URGENT: Due to a last minute drop out, we are urgently looking for someone to fill a role at a family run, friendly solar plumbing company, suitable for engineers, electricians, plumbers or those with similar practical training or experience. Spanish is NOT required as the company speak English. We already have 9 other people going out to Seville very soon to work in different organisations and we need someone to fill this final place. You would need to leave by the end of next week at the latest!

The Skills for Green Jobs Project, is an EU funded scheme, placing unemployed young people (graduates and non graduates) in environmental business and organisations in Andalucía, Spain. Working with this company will get you up to speed on solar plumbing fast and efficiently.

During your placement:
-You will stay in a (3 or 4 person) flat share with other interns in the heart of Seville.
- You will have your own room, with a shared kitchen, bathroom and lounge (with TV, utensils etc..).
-The position is unpaid but you will have ALL your accommodation, bills, flights, transfers, travel insurance and language classes all paid for, as well as cultural events and support.
-You will be supported during your placement by an English-speaking mentor as well as project staff in our Seville office available 24/7 and in regular contact.
- You will have access to weekly Spanish language classes, cultural events and training.
- You will receive 750 Euros in total for the 13 weeks to cover your food / subsistence costs.
- You will receive EU certificates and references from us.

Candidates MUST be UK resident and have a UK bank account.

These exciting opportunities are designed to help you with some of the practical and technical skills of working in the environmental sector whilst improving your confidence, independence and adaptability. Living in Andalucía, Spain will also provide the opportunity to develop your language skills, broaden your understanding of local Spanish culture and provide good stuff for your CV. And Seville is an amazing place to spend time....

The current round of placements is from January 13th to April 13th 2012, so you must be available then. Ideally you could leave this Sunday (13th!), but if not anytime next week is fine or the week after in exceptional circumstances.
