Biomass Engineer
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience + Van

The Company
My Client, imports, distributes, and installs biomass boilers. Our Client is a major player and leader in the renewables market with enormous scope for further rapid expansion. They are currently looking to recruit a highly-motivated Installation & Commissioning Engineer. The company is experiencing rapid growth and serves the commercial and domestic biomass sectors, offering quality boilers and district heating solutions.
The Role
The responsibilities of the biomass engineer will include installation, service, technical support and commissioning of commercial and domestic biomass boiler systems. Provide product training of the biomass systems to internal employees, engineers and end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning and troubleshooting biomass boilers and heating systems
- Wiring (power and control) of boilers and heating systems
- Biomass district heating control and technical support
- Willingness to work away from home and provide breakdown cover
Qualifications:
The ideal candidates must have relevant engineering qualifications, excellent understanding and extensive experience of heating, HVAC, controls and/or process systems. Previous experience with Industrial electrical systems (including relevant qualifications) up to 400V 3 Phase is essential. A good communicator and problem solver.
Full training will be given where necessary including biomass boiler training at the manufacturer's factory.
This role may be suitable for you if you have a background as any of the following: Service Engineer, HVAC Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Service Technician, Control Engineer, Air Conditioning Engineer, Milking machine Engineer, Biomass Service Engineer, Electrician.
