Branch Manager - Overview

As Branch Manager, you will motivate and engage a team of Office and Engineering staff to deliver high levels of customer service & Client satisfaction through a team of direct and indirect workforce to increase the profitability and performance across contracts. The Branch Manager ensures delivery of performance measures, in line with internal and external targets; whilst maintaining and developing stakeholder relationships and expectations.

• Base salary : Up to £42,000 (experience related)
• Location : Northampton

Branch Manager - The Role

• Develop, engage and lead an effective team that is driven to deliver the operational, financial and growth targets for each contract
• Deliver and communicate the operational delivery and contract mobilisation plans - engagement action planning and personal development plans
• Instil a customer focussed culture and a right first time approach
• Ensure safety, quality control and productivity assessments are carried out so that all work complies with current codes of practice, standards and legislation, particularly, Health and Safety, to ensure the wellbeing of employees, customers and their premises
• Proactively reduce and manage reactive customer complaints to improve Net Promoter scores and improve client satisfaction
• Ensure adequate resource planning for a direct and indirect workforce
• Effectively manage client relationships - both internal and external
• Manage the commercial client and contract reviews to ensure contractual obligations are met and opportunities to increase service levels and profitability are explored
• Input to the tender / bid process ensuring cost effective mobilisation and building strong client relationships
• Apply Business values in all day to day activities.

Branch Manager - The Person

• Technical/Educational: Commercial acumen and effective decision making to deliver business goals such as margin, productivity, quality and client satisfaction
• Experience: Budget management ; Project and Contract Management
• Relationship: Creditability and strong communication skills to drive behavioural and performance improvement ; Influencing skills & relationship management skills
• Leadership: Leadership of high performing teams
