We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager for an independent analytical services company. The vacancy is based out of the Manchester testing facility and will be targeting at developing the environmental business for that the Manchester office.
The division offers a comprehensive range of UKAS and MCERTS accredited testing services to a wide range of industries including contractors, government authorities and consultancies. You will join the existing team in carrying out the following activities;
. Identifying new opportunities within the industry sector . Sell services both within the UK and Internationally . Manage and oversee key accounts, building on current business . Maintaining records of sales and opportunity pipeline . Providing forecasts, propose and manage the sales budgets . Cross sell within other sectors of the food business . Attending exhibitions . Assisting in general marketing - website technical bulletins etc.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a degree in Chemistry or proven experience in the prescribed field. Someone who has a proven track record of selling B2B and the energy, passion and drive for exceptional customer care.
They will be ideally based around Manchester for territory coverage. Extensive travelling both within the UK and outside will be required, as well as working and staying away from home.
