We are looking for a business engagement coordinator to engage, recruit and enrol eligible businesses to the Low Carbon Growth Support Project.

Business Engagement Coordinator - Environmental / Energy Management
37 hours per week
Base: Tipton
Salary 25,650 per annum
(Part-funded by European Regional Development Funds)
Initially offered on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract*

With your proven experience of working in business services, particularly within the environmental / energy management arena, you will work closely with the business services' team and influential partners to engage local businesses and promote the work of the project while ensuring all activities are compliant to funder requirements.

As part of this role you will:

. Develop and maintain a Customer Relations Management System (CRM);
. Generate a pipeline of business engagement opportunities;
. Develop relationships with eligible businesses and establish their needs in order to engage them in the support offered;
. Recruit eligible businesses and provide ongoing guidance on the range of support offered;
. Carry out research of economic related data;
. Analyse data to develop engagement strategies and plans;
. Assist with developing case-studies and marketing material provided through the Low Carbon Growth Support project;
. Organise and coordinate events;
. Prepare and present reports and updates as required; and
. Maximise opportunities for future funding opportunities.

You must have a degree or postgraduate qualification in a business related discipline or equivalent work experience for this role along with experience of business sales / recruitment, ongoing engagement and making cross referrals.

Experience of marketing and business engagement is essential for the role along with good presentation and report writing skills.

The role will require regular travel across the region so a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
