Our client, a leading offshore engineering and environmental consultancy has a requirement for a cable engineering consultant.

Experience in offshore industry (offshore wind, power or telecoms).
The Job
This is a technical consultancy role in a market leading offshore engineering and environmental consultancy that has a growing international profile.
The primary purpose of this role is to work in a dynamic team environment and play a pivotal part in building the business through; efficient project delivery from bidding through to project completion, good Client Relationship Management, and proficient personal development.
The underlying objective is to ensure delivery of value for clients and Intertek. The job holder will get the opportunity to work on large offshore renewable energy (wind, wave, tidal) projects and high voltage power interconnector projects in the UK and overseas.
Essential qualifications and experience required are:-
Experience in offshore industry (offshore wind, power or telecoms).
Project management activities in an engineering or infrastructure project.
Exposure to HSE for offshore projects.
Technical understanding of offshore installation processes, such as, permits and consents, survey, cable installation, landfall works, cable storage facilities, vessel operations, etc.
Desirable experience includes:-
Offshore Wind or Interconnector (Power/Telecoms) experience
Engineering Degree or HND/HNC Qualification or equivalent
Supported bidding for work in major engineering and/or consultancy projects
This post will be located at our main offices in Hampshire.
