Centrica Energy requires a Change Controller to work at our Head Office in Windsor, Berkshire. The Change Controller will support the Renewables Change Manager to deliver effective change management across all workstreams; Projects, Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Development.

Change Controller - The Role
- Manage the register database and ensure that all changes are managed / documented fully.
- Prioritise and handle change queries received.
- Confidently liaise with Risk, Interfaces, Cost Engineers and Package & Functional Managers to review / impact assess changes efficiently and ensure their timely review by all.
- Build an awareness of the projects to logically and effectively help review changes being raised.
- Manage and control change documentation including the weekly change update and actions document for circulation to the wider team by the required cut off periods.
- Help to complete the rollout of the change process across all workstreams; Projects, O&M and Development.
- Assist with process improvement opportunities and drive the process and procedures to ensure best practice and compliance.
Change Controller - The Person
- Experience: Experience of change management engineering, project scheduling and cost management. Awareness is essential. An interest in and ability to grasp technical details related to offshore wind farms. Strong administrative and written skills to spot errors and complete high quality change reviews. Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Relationship: A tenacious attitude to investigating and resolving issues. Exceptional communication and organisational skills delivering work on time every time. A good team player.
Change Controller - The Company
The Centrica Renewables Energy team is one of the largest UK operators of offshore wind generation assets and has a planned build program to add a further £3Bn worth of wind farm assets over the next few years. Key to maintaining Centrica as a leader in this field is the ability to manage change in a timely and effective manner. The Management of Change is an essential governance tool used to inform management and stakeholders of the current status of construction projects and the business as a whole.
