CHP Commissioning Engineer - UK Wide - Circa 55,000 including Overtime + Van etc
Our client is an established Gas Engine CHP and Generator Company and has an immediate job vacancy for a Mobile CHP Commissioning Engineer to cover the UK.
Your home location is not important, although you must be prepared for extensive travel and periods spent away from home in order to fully complete your duties. If you are located in the South of the UK, this is more desirable however candidates in other locations are still invited to apply.
. Covering a large geography across the UK
. Attending sites as principal commissioning engineer
. Coordinating with all associated trades
. Completing full handover training
. Ideally time served Mechanical/Electrical Engineer
. 3+yrs Experience as a Generator or CHP Commissioning Engineer or similar
. Previous experience working with gas engines
. Previous experience of LTHW hot water systems including pumps, inverter drives, flow rates, delta T, boiler operations and associated BMS controls
. Previous experience of LV power generation and distribution systems
. Experience of high level software based control systems e.g. Comap / Deep Sea
. Strong IT Skills to include Comap PC Suite / DSE Configuration Suite etc
. Experience of working with complex equipment such as flue gas analysers, digital flow and temperature profiling devices
. Gas safe qualification
. IT / broadband Network knowledge
. 17th Edition Qualified
. CSCS Card
. Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering qualification
. CAD experience
. Experience of Building Services Plant such as Boilers, HVAC, BMS etc
. Knowledge of BMS protocal languages such as Modbus / Profibus / BACNet
