The Commercial Projects Manager will report the Commercial Manager. The role will support the customer acquisition process; ensure customer projects achieve their goals, protect the organisation's commercial position and ensure we maximise the opportunities through excellent customer relationship management.
·To gather market information relating to the target market - identifying new prospects.
·Assist the customer acquisition process by the gathering of customer data sufficient to develop financial and emissions models for the customer.
·Preparation of financial and emission models relating to customer acquisition.
·Development of project plans relating to the roll-out the organisations fuel contracts.
·Be the project leader to ensure the deployment of customer projects on time and to budget.
·Be the main project liaison between customer operations during the project phase ensuring all parties have the information and resources they need.
·Be the main customer liaison during the project stage of the customer acquisition process.
·Measure the performance of customer contracts against budgets and project predictions ensuring best value for customers and the protection of the company's commercial position.
·Proactively develop additional projects for existing customers with the intention of increasing sales.
·In conjunction with the Commercial Manager, develop a set of Customer Key Performance Indicators with which customers and market segments can be assessed for attractiveness and commercial viability.
·Maintain an excellent working relationship with all external suppliers to customer projects.
·Through regular customer contact develop excellent customer relationship management.
·Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art Practices; participating in professional societies.
Supervision, Managing Processes, Process Improvement, Tracking Budget Expenses, Project Planning, Dealing with Complexity, Financial Modeling, Understanding of Engineering /Logistics, Educated to Degree level, Experience in B2B Customer Relationships.
