Construction Manager - Offshore Wind Energy UK - Igloo 3

About you

Can you see yourself managing the construction of a major offshore wind farm in the UK?

We are looking for a high calibre professional engineer to lead and manage offshore construction works for wind farm projects in the UK (North Sea).

You'll take charge of all construction issues throughout the project life cycle, from supporting development, consenting and contracting activities, then construction and operation of these high profile multi million £ projects.

This a critical role in the organisation and it's the perfect time for someone to really make their mark in the renewable energy sector.

If you share a passion for renewable energy and have experience of the sector then great, but equally we are interested in hearing from candidates with other marine engineering experience,  so you might want to transfer your experience from oil & gas or other marine based civil engineering projects.

Either way you'll relish working within an international team helping the UK achieve sustainable energy supplies for future generations.

Experience required

We are looking for a professionally qualified engineer, civil, marine or mechanical.
5 years or more offshore construction experience.
Excellent communication skills, including excellent written and spoken English language skills.
As this is an international environment additional language skills are useful.
Working experience in the UK is strongly preferred, particularly familiarity with UK legal requirements for construction.
