Our Role

Due to anticipated and continued growth in the street lighting/electrical contracting sector, we are currently looking to recruit a Contracts Supervisor to join our team. You will be based in our AUS Dublin Depot, with responsibility for the delivery teams on our maintenance contract. You will ensure that the activities of the projects are planned, assigned and costed in line with projected budget and timelines provided. Ensuring the projects are being delivered to the contractual requirements and agreed standards.

-Actively promote a positive safety culture; monitor and control business unit safety performance to ensure all Company and customer safety rules and procedures are applied by staff and contractors.

-Plan, organise, monitor and control business unit operations to ensure full and effective use is made of resources at all times and business objectives are achieved within budget and in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

-Lead and manage the team within the AUS Depot to ensure a high level of motivation and co-operation is maintained at all times and support the achievement of business objectives.

-Manage and deliver multiple projects on time, to the required standard and within budgetary objectives.

-Manage all work and implement appropriate actions to maintain/improve results.

-Manage team and individual performance ensuring all training and development needs are identified and escalate any underperformance to your line manager.

-Develops a culture of continuous improvement and drive excellence to ensure cost-effective improvements in service and productivity.

Your Skills and Experience

-10yrs + contracting experience, particular experience of lighting services and electrical contracting activities would be advantage

-Very good commercial awareness and experience: balances customer requirements, commercial priorities and technical design to deliver best return for the Company

-Experienced in managing quality and safety

-Experienced in managing staff and planning work programmes and effective resource utilization

-Must have a trade or third level qualification relevant to electrical contracting industry

-Highly Proficient with MS Office

-Excellent communication skills required both verbal and written
