Our Client a leading Subsea Construction company are looking to recruit the services of a Developments Engineering Manager to join their Aberdeen based team. This role is offered on an ongoing contract duration.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This would involve client liaison, study work scoping, preparation and approval of CTRs and study schedules as well as client and management progress briefing across all study activities.

Resource Management would be a responsibility and establishment and maintenance of good working relationships within theengineering and vessel support teams and other departments as well as within the external consultant groups in the field would be required.

The Developments Engineering Manager would be responsible for establishing and maintaining processes and procedures commensurate with a high functioning studies consultancy service in pre-concept through to FEED activities.

The Developments Engineering Manager would be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of work and within the agreed budget.

Experience
Considerable knowledge of subsea field layout and development
Subsea Pipelines design experience
Subsea Conceptual and Front End Design preferably with some experience of topsides facilities
Knowledge of SAP and engineering packages would be advantageous.
Demonstrable track record within an Oil and Gas Operator or Front-End Consultants in a Development Engineering Position
Good understanding of Oil and Gas Operator Project Governance Systems appropriate with Front-End
Industry knowledge/experience of Study related scopes, feed and development engineering would be advantageous

Managerial Experience:
Essential requirements:
Management and supervision experience in a multi-disciplined group
Experience in managing client and senior management relationships and expectations
Expertise in managing and co-ordinating Front-End studies
Proven experience in building effective teamwork and communication

Qualifications and Education

Degree Qualified
Chartered Engineer or equivalent
