Director of Asset Management sought by fast-growth Renewable Energy Developer. Whilst a young company, our client is the market leader in their niche. Their existing portfolio includes ground-mount PV, rooftop arrays and small-medium wind with distributed energy storage in the pipeline.
The successful asset management director will have a good technical knowledge of one of more key segments (Solar, Wind, Energy Storage), experience overseeing operations and enhancing performance. In addition, you will be comfortable leading and growing a team.
This role will perfectly suit a capable yet ambitious individual. Someone who is equally effective in a hand on delivery role and delegating to a team. You will work closely with all stakeholder groups thus strong communication skills are a must have.
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with Finance Director and Commercial Director, the Director of Asset Management will have the following core responsibilities:
Directing asset management, including project operations, contract management, client reporting & accounting, compliance, investor relations.
Managing a team of asset managers and O&M professionals.
Overseeing relationships with clients, liaising where necessary with client chairs and other client board directors.
Overseeing procurement and negotiation of contracts with service providers.
Developing a medium-term business plan for the asset management business, identifying opportunities for further growth and optimising the value of the assets under management, including budgets, deadlines, KPIs, marketing.
Being an active member of Executive Management Team, contributing to setting the business’s long-term strategy.
