The Organisation

Our client is a multi-industry world-class consultancy for project innovation, engineering and technology. They have an impressive client list from around the world and are looking to take on a Driveline Transmissions Engineer to join their growing company working on client projects developing transmission and driveline systems.

The Role

The role will involve heading the development for controls and electronic systems for driveline and transmission applications in order to appropriate software quality.  These systems will then be integrated into vehicles and delivered to the customer. The role will also involve the test and development on transmission test rigs and hardware in the loop systems. All of this will be expected to be delivered within the time scale and budget specified.

Experience and skills


  • Engineering or Science related discipline
  • Control systems for AT, AMT, DCT and CVT transmissions experience
  • Strong knowledge of Targetlink, ASCET, Matlab/Simulink, Embedded Coder
  • Understanding of C-Code
  • Sound engineering background,
  • Extensive experience of successfully delivering projects in both a controls and electronic environment.
  • Ideally a breadth of knowledge and experience from various disciplines
