The main responsibility of the role will be to manage the planning and environmental assessment process for renewables projects. You will need to have excellent project management experience in addition to professional report writing skills. It is also vitally important that the right candidate has the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. The role is for an experienced consultant who has got a solid track record in the industry, ideally having project experience within the renewbales sector.

Academically you will need to have a degree in a relevant environmental subject or similar and have a clear knowledge of UK planning and development control procedures. Knowledge of the potential environmental and technical constraints affecting renewable development would also be advantageous.

Our client an award winning consultancy, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced EIA consultant to join their specialists team based from their Leeds office. Although they have a diverse portfolio of work, this role will predominately be involved in renewables energy projects.
