Job Title: Offshore Electrical Engineer
Salary: £31,000 – £46,500 depending on skills and experience + annual bonus
Permanent | Full Time Hours with flexible working opportunities available
You will be involved in all electrical aspects of offshore windfarm operations from turbine to grid connection or OFTO interface. This will be a dynamic role interfacing with the Control room and coordinating reactive maintenance and fault finding activities. Working closely with other members of the Engineering and operations teams you will develop operational procedures and working practices ensuring safe and effective management of the assets. You will act as first line support for the control room in the event of problems and be or become proficient in the use of the plant SCADA, diagnostic systems and inter plant communications equipment.
Your Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will be educated to a minimum of HNC level in an electrical discipline and have previous experience of working in an electrical role the Renewables industry. Experience of electro mechanical plant operations in an HV environment is essential.
As you will be interacting with multi disciplined teams its essential that you have good communication and interpersonal skills.
