Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Salary: up to €65,000 depending on skills and experience + excellent benefits + annual bonus
Permanent Full Time Hours
As an Electrical Engineer you’ll be responsible for providing technical expertise in order to manage the medium to long term integrity of high-risk operational assets and new build projects within your area of expertise, where failure would have a major impact on safety; environmental; and commercial operation of the business.
You’ll support the development of relevant engineering and design standards/specifications and undertake engineering reviews across the fleet to ensure assets comply with engineering legislation and standards; develop engineering designs for high risk new build assets and provide specialist engineering support and advice to asset operators and project teams.
Your Skills & Experience
Due to the specialist nature of this role there are a few requirements that we are looking for;
-Qualified Chartered Engineer and a member of the Engineering Council
-Good technical knowledge and experience within renewables generation
-Experience of asset integrity risk assessment and providing mitigation solutions.
-A solid understanding of plant operation and appropriate risk controls
-Working knowledge of appropriate engineering legislation and industry good practice.
-Good report writing skills.
-Effective organisation capabilities to deliver quality work to the agreed timescales.
-Commercial awareness in order to understand implications of engineering activities and decisions.
