Salary: circa €50k - depending on skills and experience + car allowance + annual bonus

SSE Airtricity Utility Solutions is part of the SSE Group and is a leading MV, mechanical and electrical specialist contractor in Ireland. Operating in a dynamic environment, we are currently involved in a range of projects throughout Ireland running a variety of commercial and term contracts and have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to work with our commercial and BD teams based from our Dublin office.
This will involve preparing detailed and accurate estimates and tender documentation. Evaluating technical requirements, estimating costs, determining prices and margins and creating quotations to potential customers in both the public and private sectors ensuring both the customer and business needs are met. In this role you will establish positive relationships with clients, with the aim of securing profitable building services projects.
You will liaise closely with the Business, Commercial Manager and Business Development Managers during the tender process, therefore communication and negotiation skills will be key to your success.
Your Skills and Experience
-Electrical estimating experience / QS experience
-Good understanding of technical drawings and can take off quantities.
-Strong IT skills and estimating software (such as Amtech Estimation or similar)
-Work well as part of a team, and to strict deadlines
-Valid driver’s licence
-Relevant Craft/technical qualification
-Negotiating and presenting skills
-Mechanical estimating experience
-MV/HV estimating experience
