Overview: Anesco is an Energy Services Business based at Aldermaston, near Reading, in a green development which mirrors the credentials of the organisation. We have now established the business, and are seeking a number of individuals to join this forward thinking, well-funded organisation to help deliver carbon reduction and energy efficient measures for home owners, local authorities and the wider business community.Outline: The opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced and qualified renewable energy Electrical Project Manager to provide technical expertise and management services for the delivery of commercial and domestic projects. Ideally you will have a proven track record in delivery of Renewable energy projects, and have the ability to run multiple concurrent roles. You will have a thorough understanding of the construction industry, and required to have knowledge and experience of health and safety as well as the practical aspects of electrical installations. Key responsibilities and accountabilities:Oversee the design and installation of renewable electrical installations Ensure that the design, analysis, calculations and projects are completed on time and adhere to project standards and specifications. Take overall ownership of the projects from conception to completion and to meet and exceed customer expectations Ensure resources are optimised and the agreed programme of works is successfully delivered on time and within budget Identify resources required, manage and supervise contractors and suppliers alike Commercially and contractually astute with good knowledge of subcontract order conditions Experience: A proven track record in successful mechanical and electrical installations, project management, implementation and delivery ideally in the renewable energy sector Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge and expertise with a thorough understanding of the construction industry Awareness of safety regulations, best practice, and engineering standards Skills & Qualifications:Excellent knowledge and understanding of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering and Installations A degree, BTEC or equivalent in Electrical and Mechanical Building Services Engineering Computer literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Design/drawing office experience including Autocad would be advantageous CITB 5 Day Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification would be advantageous Hold a valid CSCS/JIB ECS or other affiliated scheme is desirable A valid UK driving licence is essential as the role will involve travel on a regular basis A renewable energy qualification would be beneficialCompetencies &Person Specification:Ability to coordinate multiple projects, cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines, with a pro-active approach to problem solving Excellent communication and decision making skills Exceptional organisational skills with a focus on achieving high quality deliverables on a consistent basis in a pressured environment with minimal supervision Flexible and receptive to change Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a high desire to succeed Ability to manage and motivate individuals and teams Passion for renewable energy technologies
