Our client is an award winning, privately owned green energy company that has quickly established itself as a key company in the UK's environment sector. The organisation has doubled in size over the past 12 months and is now playing a significant role in reducing the country's CO2 emissions through its leading Voltage Power Optimisation Technology. Due to this rapid growth in the market, they are now looking for a new Account Manager to join their North East team.

 

The Account Manager will be responsible for developing both new and existing accounts across a range of industry sectors, they will be expected to identify and prioritise new opportunities and manage the sales cycle through to completion. The Account Manager will research new business leads and pitch for new business, deliver sales presentations to board level, lead project management activity as well as maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.

Essential:

A background within the UK energy sector

Be an accomplished account manager with broad experience of developing and closing business at board level

A demonstrable track record of selling solutions to blue-chip companies and be able to influence a broad spectrum of stakeholders

Desirable:

knowledge of the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC)

Ability to demonstrate your green credentials

A relevant degree
