Client:

Our client is the Energy business of a large blue chip construction firm. The Energy Services business is a well-established, high growth area of the company and has been invested in heavily. They are leading the way in providing customers with a fully integrated, experienced team with expertise in identifying, creating and delivering long term energy solutions into all areas of the UK market.

Role:

• Interaction with clients both alongside and in support of the Business Development (sales) team members.
• Possessing a deep understanding of energy related technologies and sharing this learning with team members and others within the wider organisation
• Investigating energy usage and installed plant within commercial, industrial and public sector sites and buildings.
• Organising themselves and/or teams to deliver site energy investigations, surveys and audits and delivering these to the required standard.
• Reporting on and modelling site energy usage and identifying potential areas of improvement or beneficial change across all aspects of the energy spectrum inclusive of Supply, Conversion, Consumption and Recovery.
• Develop fully costed and technically sound energy solutions

Responsibilities:

• Manage the client driven requirements of their part of the company's energy investigation team.
• Develop, model, cost and propose energy solutions for company's clients.
• Develop professional and long standing relationships with company's clients
• Play an active role in developing and securing additional business directly related to the use, improvement or replacement of energy related assets both within and external to the wider Group.

The Person:

• Extensive experience in an energy solutions related environment.
• Educated to a high level within a professional or technical discipline related to energy or energy operation. A recognised level of academic achievement would be advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to show a complete understanding of energy auditing to the required level.
• Experienced in development of commercial and financial aspects of proposal to clients with preference being given to those candidates with previous experience of same.
• Knowledge of larger utility plant and its operational and maintenance requirements, including power generation, steam boilers, turbines and biomass burning technologies would be an advantage
