Description

Our Client is a leading provider of retirement housing and care provision.  They have a large portfolio of property throughout the UK and are seeking an Energy Manager to provide excellence in the procurement and usage of energy.
 
Role Responsibilities
 
The Energy Manager will:
- Undertake Energy Audits on high usage properties
- Create action plan to improve energy usage performance
- Produce EPCs as required
- Monitor Energy Usage using appropriate software.
-  Procure utility supplies in accordance with relevant regulations
- Support Energy Conservation and Sustainability initiatives
- Support plant / building monitoring systems

Key Skills / Qualifications / Experience
 
Degree Qualified in an appropriate discipline
- Knowledge of the commercial utilities market and basic knowledge of purchasing techniques
- Awareness of best practice in energy conservation and sustainability
- Excellent IT and numerical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high standard of customer service and positive attitude
- Well organised and strong project management skills
- Experience of Energy Audits (ideally a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor)
