Ideally you will have extensive experience with a large major contractor as an environmental advisor within construction the industry. The role is to advise and co-ordinate with the project teams to minimise environmental risk, in addition to developing and implementing the environmental systems and the consequent production of documentation to maintain the ISO 14001 certification. You will be required to be involved in site visits and inspections and consequent environmental audits. Previous extensive experience of compliance with environmental legislation and company management systems within a construction environment will be a principal responsibility.

Ideally you will have a relevant degree qualification in addition to being a chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) / MIEMA or working towards your chartered status. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join a construction heavy weight in a varied and interesting role.

Our client a leading construction and regeneration group now have an exciting opportunity of an environmental specialist to join there team covering their northwest region. With a large project portfolio working within both a public and commercial environmental, this is a fantastic opportunity for an environmental advisor to come and work on a range of exciting projects. As an organisation they cover a range of sectors including construction, infrastructure, housing and urban regeneration.
