Your overall responsibility will be to assist the project team in order to achieve the projects environmental objectives. Reporting directly to the environmental Manager you will take responsibility for promoting and monitoring all aspects of environmental performance on the project. You will have responsibility for implementation of the project environmental strategy and report on the sites performance against the projects targets and objectives. Additionally the role will involve promoting environmental awareness of the project within the community. You will also act as the liaison to the clients representative regarding complaints from third parties on noise, dust and or other environmental issues. Due to the nature of the role you will need to have excellent communication skills and have the ability to show diplomacy in negotiations.

You will ideally be degree qualified or equivalent and have a strong track record in a similar role. Ideally you will have experience working directly for a construction or civil engineering organisation, but other consultancy or commercial project experience will be considered.
