SUMMARY

Our Client, an environmental consultancy, is seeking an experienced individual to join their team as an Environmental Clerk of Works to support implementation of large infrastructure projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Some of the main duties and responsibilities in this role will be: ensuring compliance with ecological legislation and advising on ecological protection; carrying out and/or arranging site visits, baseline audits and undertaking environmental reporting; assessing environmental risk and installation/maintenance of mitigation in relation to projects; supporting the project with liaison with regulatory bodies and stakeholders; environmental incident management and investigation including documenting data and preparation of reports on all inspections and supervision carried out.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated, thorough and adaptable, a problem solver, able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. Additionally, the candidate will have excellent working knowledge of construction techniques and environmental legislation; experience in developing and maintaining robust administrative systems and be CSCS qualified Member of the Institute of Clerk of works or equivalent.
