Our client is an established engineering consultancy with a focus on the building services industry. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within an award winning company.
You will be required to conduct Part L2 analysis of new and existing buildings, from conception through to completion and EPC lodgement. In addition to thermal modelling you will provide heating and cooling load calculations to other design engineers. There will also be the opportunity to use other skills such as daylight modelling, SAP assessments, natural ventilation simulations as well as overheating analyses and facade analyses. Outside the building physics duties, you will also have the chance to develop design and project management skills similar to those of project engineers, should that be of interest.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical (building services) engineering with experience in: integrated environmental services (IES), thermal modelling, Part L calculations and EPC production. You will be a qualified energy assessor (levels 3, 4 and 5 DSM with IES) and hold a full UK driving licence with your own car.
When applying for this role please ensure that you attach your CV in Word format including your full contact details and postal address. Failure to provide this information will significantly hinder our ability to assist you.
