Are you looking for an opportunity to work within a leading supplier of scientific expertise to the agricultural and food industries? Do you have experience in a GLP regulated environment performing environmental fate studies? Are you experienced in a range of analytical techniques analysing and evaluating organic chemicals in environmental matrices?

Our client, a leading supplier of scientific expertise and advice across the agricultural industry is looking to recruit an Environmental Fate Scientist. This is an excellent opportunity for the right calibre of individual to enhance their career in the scientific industry.

Key responsibilities include:

. Responsibility for regulatory fate studies to GLP.
. Carrying out regulatory or research based environmental fate studies.
. Development of study planes and protocols to regulatory guidelines.
. Development of proposals including timeframes and costings to support business development.
. Production of reports and communication or results to clients.
. Review and submit response to quality assurance audits.
. Review client comments and adapt or submit responses accordingly.
. Issue final reports in a timely manner.
. Contribute to the development of business strategy.
. Training and supervision of junior staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience of laboratory-based environmental fate studies in addition to experience at Senior Scientist or Study Director level. Previous experience of working with radio-labelled biodegradation studies is essential as is current knowledge of the regulatory guidelines for environmental fate studies.

Although the ideal candidate would have Study Direction experience, applications are welcome from experienced research scientists specialising in environmental fate.
