Support the EH&S EMEA team coordinate HSE activities and requirements across the region to implement EH&S compliance programs and initiatives. Working alongside the EH&S Manager and specialist team you will be given the opportunity to challenge yourself and take on additional responsibilities within the team including risk assessments; incident reporting; and conducting investigations. Your organisational skills will enable you effectively coordinate individuals across 14 different countries, liaising with peers and colleagues at all levels. All about the role A minimum 12 month contract providing full support to the EH&S EMEA team, the primary responsibility is effectively coordinating all parties involved and offer assistance as required. As well providing administrative assistance, there will be a requirement to take ownership of key duties on an ad-hoc basis to help deliver a best-in-class EH&S function. Responsibilities will include: Coordinating general health and safety arrangements across EMEA.Liaising with key internal customers and vendors - monitoring, providing support, advice and expertise to operational teams at all levels.Organising and conducting risk assessments as required and ensuring they meet legal requirements.Working with operational teams to carry out root-cause analysis and investigations and coordinating / implementing corrective measures.Carrying out safety inspections and managing the inspection program.Managing, tracking and updating EH&S records/documentation.Presentations to internal customers, teams as required.Production and distribution of EH&S Metrics/reports.Coordinating and conducting training as appropriate (e.g. inductions).Coordinating with some management of the external EMEA-wide consultancy program.Promoting and supporting the health, safety, environment and sustainability culture.Coordinating all instructor-led EH&S training.Working closely with internal customers to resolve EH&S policy/EH&S legislative queries.Supporting and coordinating pre and post-move EH&S requirements for new site projects.Managing EH&S financial and administrative requirements including Purchase Order/Invoice reconciliation, working closely with Manager on budget tracking.EH&S Contract management and coordination.Lead local Health, Safety and Sustainability Campaigns. All about you NEBOSH qualified (minimum certificate level or equivalent) with a sound knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental legislation. Experience of working in a regulated/scientific environment advantageous.Experience in auditing and risk assessments and implementing and maintaining Health & Safety systems.Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.Used to working in a fast pace environment.Excellent IT skills.Driver's license and vehicle (regular visits between Cambridge sites).Occasional international travel will be required.
