My client, a successful and expanding multidisciplinary consultancy who specialise in Civil and Structural Engineering are currently looking to recruit a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their growing team in Doncaster.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of projects including civil and structural projects and also geotechnical and geo-environmental projects. You will be managing different teams on site, logging of soil and rock and taking gas and groundwater samples. You will be expected to interpret data collected and write factual and interpretive reports.
This is an excellent opportunity for career progressions, you will be handling projects alone from feasibility to completion and also mentoring more junior members of the team.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years' experience working for a UK based consultancy and will be educated with either a BSc and/or MSc in Geoscience, Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or Applied Geology.
The ideal candidate will have experience organising and supervising site investigations, sample taking and preparation and scheduling of geotechnical and contaminated land testing. You will also be able to log soil and rock to technical standards.
