There is currently an exciting opportunity in the Offshore Wind sector to join a fast growing company at the senior management level as Head of Delivery for offshore foundation projects.
Work includes:
Management of interfaces, including subcontractors (fabrication, installation etc.) and other suppliers (turbines, electrical etc.)
Fabrication site selection and planning of projects
Working with other departments on the tendering process
Using industry knowledge to pursue new business opportunities
Handling contract-related issues
Interfacing and leadership in multi-disciplinary developmental and engineering work
Overall project control, management and reporting
Qualifications:
Experience as PM in large-scale fabrication, offshore construction and/or installation projects or similar
Experienced in marine operations and logistics
Higher degree in marine/naval engineering, or similar
Willingness to take on tough technical and management challenges daily
Ability to create good relations with customer, subcontractors and other project members
Understanding of administration and reporting
Knowledge or experience in marine surveying
Knowledge of concrete and steel grades
