The Head of Environment Services is pivotal to the success of creating and sustaining desirable neighbourhoods for all our tenures and residents by creating excellent partnerships with stakeholders, leading and developing knowledgeable site-based and customer-focused teams, co-ordinating existing services to our estates and creating new services. As Head of Environmental services you will inspire, motivate and develop a confident, highly skilled team of Estate Services Officers/Supervisors, Operatives, staff who are focused on keeping our grounds and communal spaces clean, safe and highly desirable, exceeding customer expectations and delivering high levels of satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you should have a proactive and confident approach and have the ability to use your initiative in continuously improving services. You'll be overseeing all aspects of the Estate Services management across One Housing including cleaning and caretaking of all blocks to a high standard, grounds maintenance of open areas, maintenance and safety of play areas, the timely removal and disposal of fly tipped items, ensuring communal repairs are promptly reported and monitored through to completion in order to deliver and maintain a clean and safe environment for local residents and visitors.

A wealth of experience of COSHH & Health & safety regulations and how to deliver estate-management services within a H & S framework all gained through years of working in commercially driven social housing organisations or similar.
A track record of improving customer experience across a range of socially and commercially driven services
A vision of how One Housing teams can achieve top quartile performance, delight its customers and create opportunities for growth
Up to date knowledge of our regulatory responsibilities and how to monitor and control services to meet statutory and contractual obligations
Transformational management skills that ensure you can lead your team to continued growth.
Strong budgetary management skills and demonstrable experience of routinely delivering value for money savings within your field. In this role you will oversee all relevant Estate Services contracts and supplies of equipment and services
