Salary: €61,000 – €91,500 depending on skills and experience + annual bonus

As the Head of Operations, you’re responsible for overseeing the delivery and management of all Business Energy operations for SEE across the Island of Ireland. With approx. 6 direct reports and overall responsibility for circa 40 staff, you’ll manage workload plans, budgets and will be responsible for delivering on the KPI’s, objectives and performance of Business Energy Customer Service, Credit Control, Commercial Billing, Business Assurance and core Business Energy projects delivery.
You’ll make sure measures are in place for both company and statutory compliance, ensuring these are monitored regularly. It’s important that you’ll be able to create an environment that combines change with best practice and the highest safety standards.
-Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
-Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
-Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.
-Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.
-Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
-Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
-Work with senior stakeholders.
-Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
-Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
-Support team and employment engagement communication with the management team.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful you'll need to have significant experience of leading multiple teams across a business. Strong organisational awareness will enable you to operate with credibility amongst your peers and senior management. You’ll demonstrate good presentation skills, be confident in influencing others and act with integrity at all times.
You will be adept at setting expectations, developing people, getting commitment and empowering performance. You’ll have a passion for driving continual improvement whilst working in a fast-paced environment. Some other desirable skills and experience include:
-Ideally with a bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field.
-Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
-Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
-Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Solid understanding of financial management.
