Our client is looking to appoint a highly effective Health, Safety & Environmental Co-ordinator. To assist in the development and delivery of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and operational practices for their facility in Newark. The hours of work will be based around a 37 hour working week including 30 minutes lunch break daily; and two 10 minute breaks. : Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm Qualifications . Minimum educational level achieved A Level . NEBOSH General Certificate or practical experience, and working towards NEBOSH / IOSH Demonstrable Skills & Knowledge . Ability to conduct accident and incident investigations. . A working and practical knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental principles and processes. . Practical application of Health, Safety & Environmental certifications, tools, systems and procedures.. Ability to organise and promote Health, Safety & Environmental projects. . Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organisation.. Excellent presentation and training skills.. Ability to plan workload and work with minimal supervision.. Good organisational skills.. I.T. literate with experience in electronic data management / Microsoft office skills. Experience . Health Safety & Environmental practical experience preferable. Willingness to undertake further Health, Safety & Environmental studies
