Highways Technician - BASINGSTOKE - £25-30,000 +BENS
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a secure and growing transport consultancy as my client is looking for an experienced Highways Technician to join their busy and diverse team. With an involvement in a wide range of exciting projects, they are looking for a Technician with a drive to further their career and share their expertise.
They are looking for a technician with a HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, or equivalent, with detailed design experience and at least 5 years professional experience as a Highways Technician. You will have previous experience in feasibility highway design for development planning and work to set DMRB standards and have a good knowledge of transport and traffic analysis. You will be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and AutoTRACK and be able to work self-sufficiently.
As a Highways Technician you will prepare figures and drawings for technical reports and be able to liaise well with clients. You will have a broad range of experience working with private clients and be able to unlock development potential. You will obtain data from local authorities and be able to complete junction and highway feasibility designs for private sector developments.

Commutable locations include Guildford, Woking, Crawley, Reading, Farnborough, Aldershot, Basingstoke, Bracknell and Surrey.
