This great market leading renewable energy business is looking for a lead Quality and Health and Safety Manager to lead and shape their operations from their London office. Purpose:
To carry out and lead day to day HSE management for the company including supervision of construction and project related activities - taking a proactive stance of the management across all HSE activities on site.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies in line with company activities adhering to appropriate regulations.
About you:
You should be an experienced senior within the HSE industry and preferably have worked within the waste or energy industry - with an understanding of how sites operate and are built. As such you should have an evolved knowledge of implementing HSE Plans, (Procedures, Methods, Reporting, compliance) to UK / EU regulatory standards -
You should be competent in the development and application of Safety Case, HAZOPs, HAZID, SIMOPs and Risk assessments and there use within the construction industry
With the company being a complex end to end business you should be a good communicator and adept in dealing with both internal and external customers exhibiting a strong awareness of HSE and risk management issues.
Education
Preferably a degree in a relevant technical area or equivalent.
Further education:
NEBOSH Diploma and CMIOSH
Applicants should hold a clean driving licence and be willing to travel throughout the UK
