Salary: £36,900 – £56,500 depending on skills and experience + bonus + car/cash allowance + annual bonus

The Role

Reporting to the Onshore Wind Operational Support Manager, you'll be responsible for the direct and indirect management of multi-disciplinary engineers supporting the Onshore Wind operational team. A key element of your role will be to ensure compliance with corporate standards, specifically focusing on providing support to the Generation Development build plan and ensuring a seamless transition from development stage into the operational phase. You'll be responsible for early engagement with Generation Development Projects and identifying and dealing with project technical issues from the onset.

Some of your other main accountabilities will include managing escalated issues, providing reports for senior management team as required, together with facilitating a controlled operational takeover of new assets.

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in the role, we are looking for someone who is educated to minimum HNC level in a technical discipline with knowledge and experience of wind farm site operational practises, together with a solid understanding of legislative requirements in UK and ROI. In conjunction with this you'll have strong interpersonal skills together with demonstrable understanding and experience of business safety, operational management requirements, process system development and implementation.

This role will suit someone with a background incorporating the development and construction of wind farms as well as wind farm operations and maintenance.
