Would you like to work for one of the leading companies in Europe within the fields of constructing developing and operating onshore and offshore wind farms??  Our client has more than 30 years of experience in wind power.  It is a business based on producing, distributing and trading energy & related products in Northern Europe; they are also one of the leading developers of offshore wind in the UK.

The role:

As a Joint Venture Accountant you will be responsible for financial management and Joint Venture accounting of the UK development projects. This will be focusing on economic reporting, budgeting for other projects and Joint Venture Accounting.

 Responsibilities:

  • Structure and be responsible for joint venture accounts
  • Accurate invoicing to partners and financial information flow.
  • Quarterly budget reviews, perform quality control, establish/update budgets in SAP and report budgets to internal stakeholders.
  • Update variety of cost report and analyse between budget and actual expenses.
  • Ensure accurate accounting in SAP.
  • Register and maintain purchase orders in SAP

Requirements:

  • BSc in Economics or equivalent degree or qualified by experience.
  • Part of fully qualified Accountant  e.g. ACCA
  • Hands on experience with joint venture partnerships and joint venture accounting.
  • Experience with complex projects.
  • Experience with budgeting, accounting and financial management.
  • Experience with offshore projects.

Profile:

  • Experience using SAP and Excel.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent English proficiencies must be able to speak and write English fluently.
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • You must be able to travel to Denmark for introduction, training, team seminars and workshops.
