Lead SCADA / PLC Engineer vacancy based near Bristol Our client is a leading Oil & Gas company, with a century of experience and innovation in the industry, they are a leading supplier of products, systems and services for onshore and offshore drilling and production. They are seeking an effective Lead SCADA / PLC Engineer. You will be expected to engage in all associated aspects of the equipment portfolio and to have a proven experience of high reliability, low volume and custom design and to lead multiple key projects. Specific subsea or offshore design experience is not essential, though a working knowledge of the Offshore Oil and Gas industry would be considered an advantage. You will work within a dedicated Project Team and may be required to work on one or more projects concurrently. The position holds responsibility for the SCADA / PLC design, documentation and engineering within the assigned projects. The role is responsible for ensuring technical support is provided up to and through the manufacturing and test of the project deliverables. You will be qualified to Degree / HND level in Software Engineering and have a demonstrable background in PLC / SCADA systems.
