Lead Structural Engineer (Offshore)Contract £45-75phFixed Structures - Jackets and Topsides An independent risk management organisation providing advice to companies operating high-risk, capital-intensive assets in the Oil and Gas sector has a need for a Lead Structural Engineer to help drive the Fixed Structures team further in their ever expanding market.Responsibilities:- Structural lead on major projects- Design reviews to ensure compliance with relevant Regulations- Independent analysis of structures- Maintain good relations with clients and designers- Prepare bids in response to tenders- Technical report writing- May be a requirement to work in a client or designers' offices for temporary periods.Have you:- Chartered Engineer- Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering- Substantial experience in covering jacket and topside analysis, design and fabrication- Direct experience of design appraisal- Acquired an in-depth understanding of design codes and their development- Project management and coordination capabilities,- Experience in jacket analysis linear and non-linear software- Experience topsides analysis and software- Topside experience in fire, blast & dropped objects design.If this opportunity is of interest to yourself please do not hesitate to apply or contact Harry Fleet on, all conversations will be held in the strictest of confidence.
