Lead System Design Engineer - Wind Turbines (based in Israel or the EU), ref 1110-28
Our client is globally recognised as a leader in developing military and commercial aerospace technology, with this technology they are developing projects in the Wind Turbine sectors and have requirements for established experts to work on a Contract basis supporting a new partnership and several new projects from Israel & the EU, you must be prepared to work and travel in the EU & Israel.
Candidates MUST have a minimum of 10 years of experience designing turbines for one of the leading WT manufacturers with extensive experience in "Full developing cycle".
Diploma in Aeronautical/ Electrical/ or Mechanical Engineering (Preferable MSc or PhD)
Strong technical background with wide knowledge of:
- Criteria of large WT
- Electrical Systems of WT (Design and Analysis)
- Control System of WT (Methods, Analysis tools Etc)
- Mechanical Systems of WT
- Aerodynamics (Secondary requirement)
- Structures (Design and analysis - Secondary requirements)
- WT Certification (Procedures and Criteria)
Experience at supervisory/management level.
Ability to be a team leader, to work as part of the team, both leading and as key member, influencing decisions, support and advise during the development and certification of the WT.
Solving technical or engineering related issues with the WT and its interface with the grid, foundation and condition on site.
