You will be responsible for the safe running of your own projects and must complete a Construction Phase Plan as part of the project control methodology then ensure that each project runs in conjunction with the plan and that each person involved in the project is proven to have the required skills. You will lead the team to prioritise signed off project work based on analysis of strategic importance, tasks outstanding, obstacles or barriers, budgets, resources and deadlines. You will need to accurately forecast revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilisation. You will also work with project team to ensure clients achieve an understanding of expectations, deliverable, dependencies, risks, progress and the works development process.
You will ideally have worked in a similar role with leadership responsibility for 8-10 years. You will have demonstrated an ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. You will also be used to leading and managing complex projects that are strategic in nature and national in scope. Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget are essential. You require at least a HNC in engineering, preferably a degree or equivalent combination of technical training plus 4 years working knowledge of construction, design, finance and management.
