Job Title: Marine Coordinator

Salary: £36,345 – £41,396 depending on skills and experience + annual bonus

Permanent | Full Time Hours on a Shift Basis

The Role

You will be responsible for co-ordinating the safe and effective dispatch of up to 150 staff and contractors with access to the offshore wind farm site by vessels. Ensuring the maximum availability of the wind farm assets through effective use of transportation and staff to and from the wind farm.

You will ensure the safe operation of the wind farm in accordance within all operational and environmental, health and safety procedures and OEM recommendations.

You will monitor the security of the wind farm via CCTV and an access control / asset tracking system and advise engineering department of any dysfunctional equipment or operating parameters at variance with normal levels.

You will be required to work in a control room environment and assist with the function of the control room to ensure the safe operation of the wind farm. This shall include use of Microsoft Office suite of software, in addition to other software and data management systems used by the wind farm such as Maximo, Offshore Energy Manager, OPRALog, etc.

You will be required to work in a rolling shift pattern, likely to be four days on four off however this may change from time to time.

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience of working in an operational planning or a control room environment, ideally in the offshore wind industry but this is not essential and can be educated in an engineering or marine related discipline. Wind Industry experience preferred but not essential.

Great interpersonal and communication skills are essential to ensure you can work across multiple teams as is the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.

An understanding of the marine environment preferred but not essential.
