Marine Safety Advisor - Offshore Wind - UK
My Client is a leading Renewable Energy Business who designs, installs and owns numerous International Energy assets.

One of their future projects, a major Offshore Wind Farm (1GW+) requires a Marine Safety Advisor to join the H&S Offshore department in order to plan and organise safety, quality and environmental aspects of marine activities.

Main Accountabilities (include but not restricted to):
*Implementation and development of ISO 9001/14001/ 18001 Management System;
*Development and implementation of project HSSE plan;
*Review of all contractor and interface HSSE plans;
*Coordination of HSSE Planning with the project teams (technical, consenting and controls);
*HSSE assessment of all potential suppliers, consultants and contractors;
*Defining contract-specific HSSE requirements,
*Work with CDM coordinator, technical team and contractors, in supporting design reviews;
*Support project governance and project stage gate reviews;
*Review and support during implementation of contractual HSE requirements;
*Contract/survey kick-off meetings
*Continuous improvement initiatives;
*Vessel audit coordination and
*Other activities as directed by the QHSSE Manager.

No budget responsibility, this will remain with the QHSSE Manager

Requirements:
Required Academic Skills: Degree level education preferred but not essential

Languages:
Fluent English essential
Other languages desirable but not essential

Required professional experience:
Desired:
Minimum 5 Years within the offshore industries in an HSE/Marine role
Preferably a mix of Oil and Gas and Renewable Energy

Required knowledge:
NEBOSH qualifications or equivalent
