Overview

Our client is a successful Renewable Energy engineering company, seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman with ambitions of career progression, to join a rapidly expanding organisation.

Key Qualifications/Experience

• Candidates will have either served an apprenticeship or be qualified to at least HNC level in a relevant engineering discipline
• Experienced in performing detailed 2D design using AutoCAD
• 3D design experience using SolidWorks would be highly desirable
• A knowledge of welding and casting design principles
• A strong team player
• Fabricated product design experience
• Ability to work self sufficiently

Key Responsibilities

• Performing designs to agreed specifications
• Liaising with internal departments to determine requirements
• Contributing technical knowledge to team projects
• Ensuring designs are performed to a high standard
