Job Title: Mechanical/Multi-skilled Craftperson

Location: Foyers Power Station

Salary: £24,197 – £31,960 depending on skills and experience

Permanent | Full Time Hours

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance activities and electrical & civil maintenance activities within your competence. You will be involved with the other maintenance personnel in day to day defect rectification, repair work and designated project work. You will also be involved in carrying out routine inspections and checks to ensure our equipment and fixed plant is kept to a high standard of operational effectiveness.

You'll communicate with other team members and report operational defects as they arise. You'll carry out risk assessments, plus environmental and safety inspections and will receive training to operate fixed Generation plant.

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you should have a mechanical or multi skilled craftsperson background and should ideally have previous experience of working on heavy rotating machinery. You also be educated to NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds or equivalent craft apprenticeship certificates.
